The Dalhousie Dead – An Action to Demonstrate the Scary Reality of Dalhousie
Professors are leaving, programs are being cut and services are underfunded. We worry that our education is being degraded as a result.
Join faculty, students and staff to remember the loss of the things we value about Dalhousie. We’ll write the many things that we’ve lost on tombstones and arrange them into a graveyard on the quad for all to see.
Join us from 11-2 to make a tombstone with your personal message, to hand out promotional material, get petition signatures and meet others as scared about where Dal is going as you are. If you can’t make it send a message to email@example.com for it to be anonymously posted on online and made into tombstones on your behalf.
Note; Most of the pictures in this gallery are of Dalhousie structures built on the Halifax Commons land.

The Student Loan Debt Bubble Is Creating Millions Of Modern Day Serfs
Commentary by Daniel J Towsey
Students go to university usually till they reach close to thirty years of age. Most students here in Canada live in difficult poverty while attending classes.
Then after graduating have to find a job. Many never find one that will pay enough for them to be able to afford to pay the student loans off.
Those that do soon discover that the tax and corporate government fees in their lives consume 80% of their incomes. Then after, they have to make the payments on their student loans.
They soon discover that they lived in poverty while attending university. Then after they discover that the poverty continues. They become the working poor.
But the horrific realization comes when they realize that they are now surfs or financial slave to corporate interests. They will be in debt till they reach their fifties.
Under student loans laws here in Canada they are not permitted to take out any other loans for a car, a home or to start up their own businesses while they still have an outstanding student loan balance to pay off.
This all adds up to Corporate crimes against young people.. This has been permitted to be since now all the peoples governments in Canada have been taken over by criminal corporate interests.
We the people no longer have our governments to protect us against organized crime corporate tyranny.
